Hemmingway-1 is our own 27B parameter model. It writes like a person, not a machine, and it is built for talking to people and for writing beautifully. In our tests it sounds more human than any model we put next to it, at a fraction of their size.

Hemmingway is not signed by Apple or Microsoft yet, and not in the Play Store, so your computer or phone asks once.
Mac: open Hemmingway.dmg and drag Hemmingway into Applications, then open it from there. When the Mac says it could not check Hemmingway, click Done. Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, and click Open Anyway next to Hemmingway. Confirm with your password.
Windows: open Hemmingway-setup.exe. When Windows says it protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway.
Android: open Hemmingway.apk. When Android asks, let your browser install apps, then tap Install. To connect texts and chat apps, Android may ask you to open Hemmingway's App info, tap ⋮ and Allow restricted settings.
