Fill in what the story is about, who is in it and how old they are, and how dark or explicit you want it. The button opens Hemmingway Unlocked with your request filled in, and the story is written in the chat. Unlocked is the adults-only side of Hemmingway, so it first asks you to confirm that you are 18 or over.
It writes from what you give it. It fills in the small things a story needs, and it does not change your idea, your characters or their ages.
What makes it work
- Give every character an age. All of them adults.
- Give someone a want and something in the way. A scene with no tension before it reads like a list.
- Say what happens on the page and what does not. "Explicit once they are alone" is a clear instruction. So is "fade out at the door".
- Set the length. For a long story, ask for it a scene at a time in the chat.
An example
Asked for a slow-burn, tense story about Marit, 33, a smuggler, and Jonas, 36, the customs officer who keeps letting her through, on the night he finally asks why, an opening along these lines is what to expect:
Jonas let her through again, and this time he did not look away.
"You never ask," Marit said.
"No," he said. "Tonight I'm asking."
This page shows only the opening. In the chat the story runs to the length you asked for and is as explicit as you asked. If you want it darker or slower, say so and it rewrites it.
What it will not write
Unlocked is uncensored for what adults write: sex between adults, explicit and in full, and dark, violent stories, with no lecture. A few things it never writes, in any story: anything sexual involving anyone under 18, a real person, animals, family or anyone who does not consent, and torture or help with harming a real person. Is the NSFW story generator free?
It is free to try. Hemmingway Unlocked has a free trial with no card needed, and this tool opens it with your answers filled in. You confirm you are 18 or over, sign up once, and the story is written in the chat.
Is it really uncensored?
For what adults write, yes: explicit sex between adults and dark, violent fiction, with no lecture. It still never writes anything sexual involving minors, real people, animals, family or anyone who does not consent.
Are my stories private?
Your chats in Unlocked are kept in your browser, on your device. They are not saved to your account or our servers, and they are never trained on. Clearing your browser's data deletes them, so copy anything you want to keep.
Will it sound like AI?
Treat it as a draft. The more specific your idea and characters, the less generic the story. Ask in the chat for plainer prose, and change any line you would not have written.
