What makes a thesis statement strong
- Someone could disagree. If nobody would argue the other side, there is nothing to prove.
- It shows the route. The reasons appear in the order the essay takes them.
- It fits the essay. A claim about all of history needs a book. Narrow it to what you can show in the words you have.
